Zueitina Oil Port: Cleaning the 40-inch line between 103A and the port

 

 Crude oil and natural gas are transported through pipelines, which are the most efficient means of transporting crude, where land and tank transportation cannot meet the market supply requirementss effectively as pipelines. However, transportation pipes are exposed to damage and corrosion of their internal surfaces resulting from the passage of impurities, sand, and water with the transported oil. This results in the necessity for workers in the oil movement unit to clean and inspect the line to ensure the safety of transportation and to prevent oil leakage. Therefore, last week, the cleaning brush was received for the third time (from 6 operations) in Zueitina Port, which came from Field 103A via a 40-inch linewith a length of 212 km, as a step to prepare the line to send a smart brush to inspect the line and identify
